Session 2 has begun with a burst of energy, creativity, and teamwork!
Monday set the tone for the week as the Sparks dove into Art Monday, crafting intricate origami animals and showing off their creative skills. The excitement didn’t stop there! The Sparks also discussed and selected their new studio maintenance roles, taking on responsibilities that will help keep our space organized and running smoothly.
On Two-Star Tuesday, the atmosphere was filled with kindness and encouragement as Sparks shared what they admired about each other. They offered words of support, recognizing the qualities that make each person shine. In the afternoon, learners began their writer’s workshop for this session with a focus on creating their own Hero’s Board.
Wondrous Wednesday took the Sparks’ imaginations to the skies. They explored different types of clouds and learned how each one forms, deepening their connection with the natural world and sparking curiosity about the science of weather. In the afternoon, the studio buzzed with Halloween spirit as the Sparks made spooky decorations for their cubbies, getting ready for the holiday ahead.
Halloween Thursday was all about fun and festive excitement! Sparks shared what they’re most excited for this Halloween, then enjoyed a spirited game of “Pin the Eye on the Monster,” filling the studio with laughter.
Wrapping up the week, Fitness Friday gave Sparks a chance to discuss their favorite sports and think about exercises that could help them improve. After an energized chat, they geared up for a five-minute round of high-intensity exercise, leaving everyone feeling supercharged and ready for Core Time.
