Journey: Session 2, Week 4

This week was different in the Journey studio: This week was all about getting ready for the craft fair or catching up from previous challenges. The Falcons had more freedom than they usually had: they devised their schedule according to what was necessary for their progress and goals. It was beautiful to see how their time management skills are coming into practice and prioritizing what is more important and what is less. Check the weekly photos to see the beautiful products the Falcons are preparing for the fair!

All our morning launches this week were about gratitude. We discussed Socratic questions like Which would have the most substantial impact on a person: A thank you letter written by hand, a thank you message in person, a gift, or Something else?

The Falcons spent some time writing gratitude letters to a person of their choice and went to the woods to write a gratitude journal

On Wednesday, the newly elected council organized our school Thanksgiving party! The learners enjoyed activities like karaoke, games, and art projects related to Thanksgiving. Journey and Discovery learners went to Mollicon park to clean the wood, and all the school met at the end of the day to have a Thanksgiving feast together.

I will take this opportunity to share how grateful I am to have you as part of the AABC tribe. Your constant support and encouragement are appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
