Hello parents and Learners this week we were starting to wrap up the session! Our exhibition hosts worked very hard to prepare for our exhibition
First we're going to be talking about writer's workshop
This week everyone was focused on wrapping up their podcasts. We finally got to know the winners of the AABC podcast competition! If you weren't there for the exhibition let me tell you the winners. Third place was Michael, second place was Yahli L and Logan. Finally, first place was Aviya, Ofri, and Maya with their podcast About extinct animals! Anyways that's all for Writer's Workshop now let's move on to Quest.
In Quest, like last time we kept working on our projects. Learners started thinking about what they wanted to present in the exhibition. A lot of learners worked on rehearsing their presentations while others decided they just wanted to present to their families. Well I don't really have anything else to talk about with you and Quest So now let's move on to Civ!
In Civ We kept learning about ancient Egypt and how they lived. A group of learners decided they wanted to share their skit on how to mummify a person during the exhibition so they got to practice for that. Now let's move on to art.
In art we kept working on our t-shirt designs for the upcoming business fair. Some people were already finished and wanted to just do free drawing.
Finally, we had a wonderful exhibition on Thursday. Everyone did a wonderful job sharing their work and we said goodbye to a learner graduating from Discovery into the Journey studio. We wish him the best!
