In the early 2000s, Jeff and Laura Sandefer, a Texan couple, were looking to find an educational option for their children that would prepare them well for the future.

Unsatisfied with outdated, traditional school options and unable to find what they were looking for, Laura and Jeff decided to create a school of their own, one that would truly prepare young learners for the future ahead and inspire them to become the best versions of themselves. In 2010, Jeff and Laura Sandefer launched the first Action Academy in Austin,  Texas.
